Character I created in my ongoing quest to produce beautiful stylized characters for my portfolios.
Most of the character was modeled in Maya and Zbrush. Use the native maya nhair to create the hair. Also decided to take Renderman out for a test drive and was happy with the results.
Applying a RIS material to the hair was a little tricky, but with some clever node editor work I managed to use RIS/Pixar material on the hair… I was trying to create dreadlocks, but…maybe next time.
